About Us

Jesse L. White, CPL, Operations Manager, was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, in 1976. The majority of his adolescence was spent in South Louisiana; however, he was raised in a military family with seven siblings and also lived in Berlin, Germany between 1989 and 1992. Jesse returned to Lafayette to attend the University of Louisiana in 1994, majoring in Professional Land and Resource Management ("PLRM"). His first oil and gas related job was acquiring seismic permits in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana in 1997 while still in college. He has been in the oil patch ever since. He graduated from UL in the summer of 1999 with a BA in PLRM and briefly lived in New Orleans, continuing his career as an oil and gas professional.

In the spring of 2000, Jesse relocated to Denver, Colorado to pursue business opportunities in the Rocky Mountain region. Initially he began working as a contract landman in Denver. However, in 2001 he became a partner in Delta Energy, LLC (a land brokerage firm) and Apollo Energy, LLC (exploration prospect firm). Between 2001 and 2006 Jesse and his partners at Apollo Energy, LLC developed various successful exploration prospects in Colorado's Piceance Basin and the Denver Julesburg Basin in Nebraska. In 2006 Jesse formed Apollo Operating, LLC to take his career to the next level and became an operator of oil and gas wells. Apollo Operating, LLC, is an A to Z oil and gas operator that identifies and drills its own prospects.

Jesse's interests include traveling, snowboarding, outdoor motor sports, water sports, running, and is a sports enthusiast. His favorite sports teams are the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, the Colorado Rockies, and the Denver Nuggets.

Tanya Lounsberry, Office Manager, was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. She recently joined the Apollo team in the summer of 2010 and has enjoyed learning all about the oil and gas industry. She has been exposed to all areas of the industry and continues to learn and grow with the company. She is excited for the future of Apollo and dedicated to making the company a success. Tanya’s interests include hiking, camping and outdoor activities.

Jeremy Gautreaux, Land Manager, was born in 1969 and grew up in the small town of Lockport, Louisiana, about 45 miles Southwest of New Orleans. In 1982 he moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, where his first knowledge of the existence of the Oil and Gas Industry began.

Seeking a career change and with no experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, he began his career in 2000 as a Contract Landman in Lafayette, Louisiana. He worked many prospects throughout Louisiana and Texas where he gained most of his experience in the field negotiating and buying leases. He also gained valuable experience working in the office on various assignments during this period.

Jeremy moved to Denver in March of 2010 to become a Contract Landman with a local firm and to gain experience in the Rocky Mountain Region working the DJ Basin in Colorado and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. In April 2012, he joined Apollo Operating as the Land Manager. He continues to work in the field, negotiating Oil and Gas Leases and other agreements, as well as handling all aspects of the Land Department in house for Apollo. Jeremy’s negotiating and communication skills and overall knowledge of the industry have helped form many lasting relationships with mineral owners as well as fellow colleagues in the industry.

In his free time, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, cooking, fishing and camping, as well as being with friends and family. Being a big sports fan, his favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and The University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns.
