Apollo Operating has joined forces with Pronghorn Operating, LLC ("Pronghorn"), a Colorado limited liability company, in developing prospects within the Las Animas Arch of southeastern Colorado. Pronghorn is a joint venture comprised of various oil and gas professionals with backgrounds in petroleum engineering, geology, geophysics, and petroleum land management. Pronghorn is currently leasing properties in Cheyenne, Lincoln, Kit Carson, Kiowa, and Bent Counties Colorado and exploring other areas in the region. Pronghorn plans to begin drilling operations on its Las Animas Arch project within the next year. See Figures 1 and 2 for a general structure map of the Las Animas Arch area as well as a type log denoting the various formations encountered when drilling in the area. |
